Dance Classes · HK Minis · 5–7 years
HK Minis is where it starts to feel like a real dance class. Real teachers, real music, longer routines. We split the room by experience as well as age, so a first-timer is never lost at the back.
First class is free. No card, no commitment.
What a class looks like
Step 1
A proper warm-up set to the music they'll dance to. Names, focus, energy in the room.
Step 2
Movement patterns travelling across the studio. They build coordination, rhythm and stamina without realising it.
Step 3
A short routine, broken down step by step. Repetition builds confidence, then the routine gets a bit longer the week after.
Step 4
Stretch, settle, share something they enjoyed. A clean ending so they leave proud.
Class timetable
Minis classes run at Billericay HQ. Operational timetable runs 5–8 years; the band sits across HK Minis (5–7) and the start of HK Juniors (8).

Every Minis class is led by a teacher who dances professionally. They bring the studio, not the school disco.
Streamed by ability
We split classes by experience as well as age. A first-timer is never in the same group as a child who's been dancing since two.
Multi-style
Hip Hop one night, Tap the next, Musical Theatre on Saturday. Most Minis settle on a favourite by the end of the term.
Pricing
No card needed. After your trial, we send the timetable and term pricing on enquiry. No joining fee, no deposit, sibling discounts apply.
Parents ask
Yes. Beginners classes are exactly that — for children who have never danced. The teacher pitches the room to the newest dancer in it.
Absolutely. Lots of Minis do Hip Hop on Monday and Musical Theatre on Saturday. We'll send the timetable and you can pick whatever suits the week.
Team training is invite-only. We watch in regular classes and invite dancers when they're ready. There's no audition pressure on the parent side.
Comfortable kit they can move in — leggings or shorts, t-shirt, trainers (or bare feet for Contemporary). Hair tied back. We'll guide on shoes per class once they settle.
